The disciples asked Jesus how they should pray. Basically what is the format for prayer? Jesus answered by telling them that a prayer should be simple. He gave them an example in what has become known to many as The Lord’s Prayer.
We can find The Lord’s Prayer in Mathew Chapter 6 and it goes like this:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
